Stacey Cropley (St. David's School of Nursing) Faculty Profile
Dr. Cropley is the Graduate Program Director in the School of Nursing, joining the faculty in 2018. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership in 2011 and is an accomplished leader with a longstanding commitment to the principles of shared governance, fostering collaborative decision-making by promoting discussion, idea-sharing, and strategic decision-making. Dr. Cropley is an active contributor to professional nursing organizations, currently serving as a Board of Director member for the Maine-American Nurses Association. She has also held leadership roles within various working committees for the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. At Texas State University, Dr. Cropley has enhanced shared governance through leadership roles on the Nursing Peer Review Committee, the Graduate Council, and as a liaison to the Faculty Senate for the School of Nursing. Her dedication to leadership, advocacy, and the promotion of shared governance continues to positively impact nursing practice and education.
Kimberly Lee (Health Administration) Faculty Profile
Kim holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in Organizational Leadership, a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA-MSHP), and bachelor degrees in Physical Therapy (BSPT), and Biology (BA). Kim is a Bobcat, an alumna from the School of Health Administration (SOHA) and PT Program and has taught and served in both programs. She serves in the role of Associate Professor of Practice and the Online Programs Director in the School of Health Administration.
Kim has participated in shared governance at the departmental level by leading and collaborating in curriculum, program, and school changes. For example, Kim led the launch of accelerated online programs within SOHA, requiring extensive departmental-faculty involvement and governance in addition to partnership with university entities. Kim has participated in shared governance via the Nontenure Line Faculty Committee by providing a collective voice for instructional, clinical, and practice faculty related to university policy changes.
