Identifying Human vs. Nonhuman Bone

This course is designed for law enforcement agents, park rangers, wildlife managers, archaeologists, and others that need to be able to recognize the differences between human and nonhuman bone.  This is a one-day course consisting of lectures and hands-on laboratory training. Histological differences between human and nonhuman bone will also be demonstrated.

This course is open to anyone interested in learning about the difference between human and nonhuman bone.

Accommodations

Any hotel/motel within San Marcos will be within 15 minutes of the workshop site. You may ask for the Texas State Rate at some hotels for an additional discount.
