Lynn Ledbetter (Music) Faculty Profile
Lynn Ledbetter is completing her fourth year as Chair of the Faculty Senate. She teaches applied violin and chamber music on the undergraduate and graduate levels, and serves as Chair of the Piper Professor Committee, and as a member of the University Arts Committee, School of Music Personnel, Graduate Curriculum, and Performance Upper Level Review Committees. As a tenured Professor of Music, she has served on dean, chair, administrative and faculty search/evaluation committees; executive personnel/personnel and planning committees; College Curriculum Committee; and as Faculty Senator, Vice-Chair and Secretary of the Faculty Senate, Chair of the Nontenure Line Faculty Committee, and School of Music Faculty Senate Liaison. Since coming to Texas State, and witnessing its consistent growth in size and quality, she continues to maintain a strong belief in the importance of ensuring that faculty will always have a strong, clear and responsible voice in shared governance.
Dimitry Tetin (Art & Design) Faculty Profile
Dimitry Tetin has been serving as the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Communication Design Program at Texas State since 2019. Prior to moving to Central Texas, he was an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at the State University of New York at New Paltz. He also worked as an adjunct at Rhode Island School of Design and Parsons the New School for Design. He earned his BA in Literature from the University of Chicago, BFA in Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
At Texas State he has served on numerous program-specific and School-wide committees and represented the College of Fine Arts on the College of Applied Arts Academic Program Organizational Review Task Force. Outside of the University, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Austin Book Arts Center.
