Mathworks Receives H-E-B Tournament of Champions Grant

Mathworks is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $16,000 grant from the H-E-B Tournament of Champions to support this year’s Mathworks Summer Programs. The H-E-B Tournament of Champions’ grant provides scholarships to those with financial need in an effort to increase students’ interest in Science Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

The Junior Summer Math Camp (JSMCH) is a two-week multi-level half-day program for students in grades 3-8. The camp allows students to experience the joy of doing math in an interactive and fun environment, while providing a foundation for algebra and higher-level problem-solving. The  JSMCH also provides opportunities for Teacher Professional Development, and both Undergraduate and Graduate Research, allowing Mathworks to improve the learning environment beyond camp.

After attending JSMCH my daughter “went from being a C student to an A student in Math” says Tasha Fennell. Click the link below to hear the rest of the Fennell Family’s experience with Mathworks. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DSqipbKhTAiyLvTT01GqEMX5nFnPEEuS/view?ts=5e5d049c
