Mathworks Receives Support from AMS , Kodosky Foundation, and San Marcos Lions Club
AMS donates $2500 to support students attending the HSMC program
Since 2012, AMS has donated annually to support students attending the Honors Summer Math Camp program. Mathworks and AMS share similar missions to promote mathematics.
The AMS, founded in 1888 to further the interests of mathematical research and scholarship, serves the national and international community through its publications, meetings, advocacy and other programs, which
- promote mathematical research, its communication and uses,
- encourage and promote the transmission of mathematical understanding and skills,
- support mathematical education at all levels,
- advance the status of the profession of mathematics, encouraging and facilitating full participation of all individuals,
- foster an awareness and appreciation of mathematics and its connections to other disciplines and everyday life.

San Marcos Lions Club donates $3,000
San Marcos Lions Club donates $3,000 to support students attending the Mathworks Junior Summer Math Camp.
Thanks to the faithful donation from the San Marcos Lions Club many students will be able to attend the camp with a full or partial scholarship. The lions club has donated to the program since 2013.

Kodosky Foundation Donates $4,000
The Kodosky Foundation donated $4,000 to the Junior Summer Math Camp program. This generous donation will support students with financial need to attend the half-day camp. The Kodosky Foundation has donated to the Mathworks programs since 2001. Read more about Jeff Kodosky and the Foundation.
