Mathworks Receives Grant from American Math Society Epsilon

Mathworks is honored to receive a grant of $8,300 from the American Math Society Epsilon fund.  These funds will provide scholarships for students with financial need to attend this year’s Mathworks Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC). We firmly believe that programs like ours can create a brighter future for all of our  students, allowing them to dream bigger and reach further than they may have thought was possible.

This year’s HSMC will be a five-week virtual program designed for talented high school students. The camp provides an opportunity for the students to engage with a diverse group of gifted peers and to broaden their mathematics experience by being exposed to college level curriculum.  The network of HSMC alumni they will join provides resources to discuss colleges and career choices with past participants who work in a wide variety of fields.

Students who attend our program create lifelong friends and a tie to Mathworks. The wonderful stories of our campers who have gone on and accomplished great things inspires future campers who follow in their footsteps.
