Completion of this form is not confrmation of appointment. TEMC answers every email request as quickly as possible, usually withn 24 hours, and will send a confirmation email once you are scheduled.
This form is only for those students who want to request a REMOTE VOUCHER to take
- the TSI Assessment (TSIA) for college readiness; or
- the Accuplacer Advanced Algebra & Functions (AAF) test
for placement into calculus, precalculus (or equivalent)
Remote testing includes taking your test at a testing center other than Texas State University's San Marcos or Round Rock centers, or from home via virtual online proctoring (via Examity, an independent company that offers virtual proctoring).
Remote testing will require payment of two fees:
- one to the testing center (TEMC) of Texas State University of a Remote Voucher Fee to cover the cost of the test units to be used as well as our processing costs; and
- another payment to Examity or the in-person testing center at which you will test for their proctoring services.
If you want to test in person at either our San Marcos or Round Rock testing facilities, then instead of using the form below, please submit the In-Person TSIA request
PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST MAY TAKE SEVERAL DAYS
Processing your remote voucher requires YOU to take additional steps beyond submitting this form. Also, please note that depending on the number of requests received and other demands on our center's staff, processing can take several days; therefore, your request should be submitted AT LEAST one week prior to the date you would like to test. We will respond to your request by email as soon as we can, so make sure you enter your email address correctly, and allow up to 3 business days (especially June-August). Fields with asterisks must be completed.
