Texas State Concrete Industry Management students have the opportunity to participate in the American Concrete Institute (ACI) - Student Chapter. The ACI Student Chapter is led by elected student leadership, who regularly conduct membership meetings throughout the semester hosted by industry guest speakers.
ACI student members also regularly travel to ACI Conferences in the fall and spring semesters, and participate in ACI Student Competitions.
Current TXST CIM students are selected as Ambassadors for the program each academic year. These students play a vital role in exposure of the CIM program and culture to the Texas State University community.
These Ambassadors participate in many events on campus, including Bobcat Days, Bobcat Build, as well as hosting informational sessions and tabling on the Quad to educate other TXST students, families, faculty and staff about the CIM Program and all of its opportunities.
