Mission

The mission of the Department of Engineering Technology is to prepare professionals for innovation and leadership careers in the global industrial marketplace, for the purpose of positively contributing to the well-being of the economy of the State of Texas.

Accredited Academic Programs

The Department of Engineering Technology offers its students three undergraduate and two graduate programs to earn a degree. Each program is accredited by the organization and supported by the Industrial Advisory Boards below.

Students in Motion

Our student clubs and competition teams participate in many activities as they interact with industry leaders. 2022 tailgate with President & Mrs. Damphousse.

Manadatory INTERNSHIP

Students in Engineering Technology are required to take the TECH 2190 Internship course after their Sophomore year.  This opportunity immerses them in their chosen industry for 400 hours/50 days and enriches their academic studies upon their return to campus.

The University hosts Career Fairs for employers and students to network and find internships and employments.
