Comal 116 Dialogue Series Room Reservation Request

conference table surrounded by students

When what we now call the Comal Building was fully renovated in 2012-2014, Texas State University created a space devoted to reasoned conversation around matters of common concern – Comal 116, the Dialogue Room.

Comal 116 is a physical instantiation of the University’s commitment to the thoughtful consideration of ideas and experiences. The room serves as the home to the Philosophy Dialogues, and departmental colloquia and meetings, and has hosted film screenings, musical performances, poetry readings, panel discussions, debates, lectures, club and committee meetings, retreats and workshops, poster sessions, conferences, receptions, and even a painting party.

We invite you to consider Comal 116 for your event.

Please use the form below to submit your request, stop by and see the room, and please let us know if you have any questions.

Please read the following specs and policies about Comal 116 before filling out the request form.

The media kiosk in Comal 116 is the same type as is found in other classrooms.

If available and by prior arrangement, Phil IT staff might be available to provide tech assistance.
