4 Fellows Four Texas State University Undergraduate Students

Four TXST undergraduate students will attend the Mathworks Fellows program during the Junior Summer Math Camp program this summer.

Mathworks is pleased to announce a $29,647 award from the G. R. White Trust. This generous gift will allow Mathworks to provide ten scholarships for Mathworks summer math camps, including the Junior Summer Math Camp, Residential Junior Summer Math Camp, and Honors Summer Math Camp, with a focus on students from rural communities in Texas.  Additionally, this gift will fund two inservice teachers and four Texas State University undergraduate students (as Mathworks Fellows) to participate in professional development during the Junior Summer Math Camp. The award will help Mathworks fulfill its mission of providing excellent summer mathematics programs for students regardless of their family financial resources.

The G. R. White Trust, established by Brady, Texas rancher and banker George Rollie White, provides funding annually for college scholarships as well as for innovative programs in healthcare, agriculture, and natural resources management.  The G.R. White Trust has been a valued supporter of Mathworks since 2022.
