The Mathworks Math Contest (MMC) is a free contest: an opportunity for middle school students (grades 6 - 8) to explore mathematics and be challenged by high-level problems!
The MMC is a 15 question test that is proctored by math teachers, coaches, librarians, or parents at their respective schools. Proctors will receive the test, administer it to students, and send students’ test to us. After all the tests have been graded, scores are released to the proctor. Top scoring students will be recognized. All students are encouraged to apply to one of the Mathworks summer math camps.
The MMC is not intended for AI.

How do we use the Mathworks Math Contest?
Mathworks uses the Mathowrks Math Contest (MMC) to help us identify students that would be a good match for the Junior Summer Math Camp Residential program.
In the past, Mathworks attended the Primary Math World Contest (PMWC) with a team of 4 middle school students selected from the highest scoring MMC participants. These students then attended the JSMCR program to work as a team to prepare for the PMWC later in the summer. Read more about the MMC and the PMWC.
