VASC Guides are current Texas State veterans or military-connected students who provide incoming and returning Texas State veterans and military-connected students with guidance to succeed in their academic endeavors. This peer-to-peer program allows new students to meet and ask questions from current students who have likely had similar experiences or can share commonalities. VASC Guides are familiar with many useful resources about Texas State, Veteran Affairs, the local San Marcos community, and more!

VASC's Bobcat Cadence is a campus resource tour for military-connected students by military-connected students.
Bobcat Cadence is designed to provide you with an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the campus in the same way that many learned about a new duty station.
Bobcat Cadence is a team endeavor involving many military friendly offices and is coordinated through a partnership between the Veteran Academic Success Center, Veterans Affairs, Career Services, Counseling Services, Veterans Initiative, and Veteran Alliance of Texas State.
