The Student Learning Assistance Center (SLAC) is a multi-faceted academic support program for all Texas State students. We provide tutoring services (individual and small group), Supplemental Instruction (collaborative group study for specific courses), Success Coaching, and house the Veteran Academic Success Center (VASC). Services are funded through a variety of sources such as Student Service Fees and do not incur any additional cost to students.

While I hope you will explore our web site to learn more about our services and other resources, I also encourage you to visit SLAC on the 4th floor of Alkek Library. Stop in and see why Texas State students visit us over 52,000 times each year.
