J. Brent Walker, the executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, is both a member of the Supreme Court Bar and an ordained minister. He earned degrees from the University of Florida, Stetson University College of Law, and Southern Seminary. Walker has been published widely and routinely provides commentary on church-state issues in the national media.
Charles Watson Jr. is the education and outreach specialist of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty. His work is focused on expanding the base of support for religious liberty and engaging the next generation of advocates. A graduate of The Citadel and McAfee School of Theology, Watson is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship-endorsed chaplain.
