Department of History

The History Department is dedicated to developing analytical skills and promoting critical thinking.  This is accomplished by offering several degree options for undergraduate and graduate students. 

Our undergraduate program offers a Bachelor of Arts in History with the option of teacher certification in various secondary concentrations while our graduate program offers students degrees in four broad fields: United States History, World History, European History, and Public History.
