Registration for Academic Credit

To earn academic credit for CPM tracks, students must be enrolled in an academic program at Texas State University at the San Marcos, Round Rock or Arlington locations. Students must have approval from their academic department and should refer to the CPM Program Details page for track descriptions and academic course conversion numbers.

These courses are offered through the Online and Extended Programs Office, which provides information on associated fees. For more information on university tuition rates, refer to the Tuition Rates schedule on the Student Business Services page.

Since these are not traditional courses, students must complete the following steps to request academic credit registration:

  1. Seek approval from your academic advisor or department head and the CPM office.
  2. Complete the Online and Extended Programs (OXP) form. Once submitted, you will receive final approval and additional important information from OXP.
  3. Register for the course through Banner.

Financial Aid

CPM Courses are offered through the Texas State University Office for Online and Extended Programs. These courses are eligible for financial aid if the student is accepted into a regular degree program and the courses are included on the students’ degree outline. For additional information the student should contact the Texas State University Financial Aid Office, The Veterans Affairs Office or the students’ academic degree advisor. The CPM Program does not offer direct financial assistance.
