Per University policy, specific conditions must be met for completed coursework to be evaluated for transfer:

  • must be a 3 credit hour graduate level course
  • completed during the past 6 years
  • not already used toward the completion of another degree
  • earned at a regionally accredited university
  • earned grade of B or higher (grade of CR cannot be awarded for transfer credit)
  • maximum of 12 hours (4 courses) can be evaluated for transfer

Please note: The Professional Counseling Program Graduate Advisor (Program Coordinator, Dr. Maria Haiyasoso) processes requests to transfer in graduate credit hours. A recommendation is made to the Graduate College on behalf of the newly admitted student, with ultimate approval determined by the Dean of the Graduate College. Transfer requests must be submitted via this form.

The Graduate College must have an official transcript showing earned credit to finalize transfer requests. Any questions regarding sending of transcripts must be directed to the Graduate College.
