How does Integrated Studies differ from other degrees?
INTS is an individualized, interdisciplinary, “self-designed” major for students who seek a variety of courses/subjects or have multiple transfer hours they wish to use toward a degree.

What can I do with this Integrated Studies degree?
The variety of occupations are unlimited. INTS teaches and practices transferable skills among numerous disciplines. The career path you take dictates how you build your degree through your chosen minor(s) and elective coursework.

What minors are available? How many do I need?
There are 100+ TXST minors to choose from. You will be required to choose 1, 2, or 3 minors based on your career goals. Your College of Education academic advisor can help you choose the right combination of minors that best matches your future occupation.

What are the required INTS courses?
INTS 4360 + 4361

Do I need approval for INTS 4360 and INTS 4361?
You will enroll in these courses in the last two semesters of your senior year.

Is there a FULLY ONLINE option for this degree?
Yes. Integrated Studies offers an ACCELERATED ONLINE DEGREE (AOP) option in addition to our traditional face-to-face degree. You can also transition (one time) from the traditional face-to-face program to complete your degree fully online in your final semesters. Click on the AOP link for more information.

How far in my academic career can I switch to Integrated Studies?
You can declare INTS anytime, even in your senior year. However, the earlier you declare INTS, the better you can plan your minors and elective courses to best match your career goals.
