The Adult, Professional, and Community Education (APCE) program prepares students to work with educators and community leaders. Adult educators work in diverse settings, including libraries, museums, parks, schools, businesses, social services, the military, religious groups, vocational education, media, and non-governmental organizations—anywhere adults learn. The APCE field integrates adult learning, teaching, development, program planning, evaluation, community and organizational development, and social justice. Students collaborate with faculty and professionals beyond the classroom, contributing meaningfully to real-world projects.
