JOIN THE BMB IN 2024!

Three easy steps for joining the Bobcat Marching Band

1. REGISTER FOR THE APPROPRIATE CLASS: For students who are new to Texas State, make sure you register for the class during your advising experience. (More info on this process can be found at https://firstyear.txst.edu) ALL BMB members MUST be registered for the class to participate in the band!

  • MUSE 3120-001: woodwinds (CRN 11533)
  • MUSE 3120-002: brass (CRN 11534)
  • MUSE 3120-003: percussion (CRN 12599)
  • MUSE 3120-004: color guard & twirlers (CRN 12780)

2. FILL OUT THE BAND INFORMATION FORM: (available online late April) ALL members, regardless if you are new or returning to the group, MUST fill out the ONLINE BAND INFORMATION FORM. (Also known as the BIF) Please fill out all information to the best of your ability. If you need to make changes to your information, you can do so at preseason camp check-in. Due August 1st.

3. DOWNLOAD THE MEMBERSHIP PACKET: Download and review the material in the membership packet. (PERCUSSION, you must also submit a pre-screening video - please see below.)
