Undergraduate Internship Information

Internships provide students the opportunity to engage with anthropology through work and research activities. Past internship experiences have included placements in archaeology labs, museums, police departments, forensic science laboratories, primate sanctuaries, public health departments and various non-profit organizations. For the entire range of students’ past internship projects, visit the Find An Internships page. Keep in mind though that students discover new internship projects every year.

Course credit for internships is available to undergraduate majors through ANTH 4390, which may be repeated once for credit. Interested undergraduate majors should contact the Internship Coordinator several months prior to the beginning of the semester in which they hope to intern in order to begin the internship process.
