Dr. McKeown is a biological anthropologist who specializes in the study of the human skeleton. She will be teaching undergraduate courses such as Biological Anthropology, Human Osteology, Methods in Skeletal Biology, and Forensic Anthropology, and graduate courses such as Lab Methods in Forensic Anthropology and Seminar in Biological Anthropology. Dr. McKeown has done fieldwork in many areas of the U.S. and Belize. She is a member of the Smithsonian team investigating the history of Jamestown and its inhabitants.
