The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state-legislated program to improve student success in college. You are currently missing at least one TSI score or exemption which will prevent you from registering for classes at Texas State University until your score is received or an exemption is processed.
TSI exemptions are in the categories of:
1. Math
2. ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading)
Please check below to see if you have any TSI exemptions. If you do not, then you will need to take the TSI Assessment exam.
***If you plan to attend NSO, you must submit your TSI scores or exemption documentation at least seven days in advance, or you will be dropped from your session.***

Taking the TSIA2
If you do not qualify for a TSI exemption requirement for Math or ELAR, you will need to take the TSI Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2). Please follow the guide below for taking the TSIA2.
