Graduate Physics Society (GPS)
The Graduate Physics Society at Texas State University was created to foster a community among the graduate students of the Physics Department and those graduate students interested in Physics. This community promotes interests in research, academia, and professional development.
Society of Physics Students (SPS)
The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a professional association explicitly designed for students. Membership, through collegiate chapters, is open to anyone interested in physics. The only requirement for membership is that you be interested in physics. Besides physics majors, our members include majors in chemistry, computer science, engineering, geology, mathematics, medicine, and other fields.

Astronomy Club
The Astronomy Club at Texas State University is composed of students across multiple disciplines that have a love of and interest in astronomy. They are involved in many activities including, but not limited to, exploring the night sky, educational outreach, and camping.
Society of Women in Physics (SWiP)
The Society of Women in Physics (SWiP) encourages interest and leadership of women in physics and welcomes all who are dedicated to promoting gender equality within physics. We provide a supportive community whose members share their experiences, advice, and ideas; and provide our members with outreach opportunities both within TXST and the greater San Marcos area. SWIP every Tuesday from 11-12:30 pm in the conference room in the main office.
