How Coursera Career Academy Works
For TXST Staff, Faculty, or Students
- Select either Student or Faculty/Staff login from the boxes above. The links will take
you directly to login with Texas State Single sign on. - Note* if you had previously created an account with Coursera, you will be prompted
to enter the password from the account you had already created. Enter your
password and click continue.
Once logged in:
- Faculty and Staff will receive a message that notes "You are invited to join the
Career Academy for Texas State Faculty & Staff." Click Join Program. - Students will receive a message that notes "You are invited to join the
Welcome to Texas State Student Career Academy." Click Join Program.
For Alumni
TXST Alumni access will be shared in Phase 2 during Fall 2025. Make sure your information is up to date with the Alumni Association to receive email updates on Coursera Career Academy.
Alkek One Micro-Credentialing Program
Learn foundational digital concepts and skills via the technologies available in Alkek One, all while curating a portfolio of work for prospective employers. Alkek One's microcredentials program are non-credit programs TXST students can register.
Programs include intro to podcasting, 3D bootcamps, virtual production, video or audio editing and much more!
