Fatima Romero
Ms. Romero is a second year High School Mentor.
She is junior studying Mechanical Engineering.
When asked what she loves most about being a High School Mentor Romero states, “What I love most about being a High School Mentor is the opportunity to build connections with students and be a part of such an important step in their lives. I enjoy helping make the process feel easier because I know how confusing it can be to figure it out on your own. I love being able to answer their questions and support them throughout the process. It’s very rewarding to know that I’ve helped them along the way and to see them go on to follow their goals.”
Samantha Soto
Ms. Soto is a first year High School Mentor.
She is a Criminal Justice major.
When asked what she is most looking forward to as a High School Mentor, Soto states, “I am most looking forward to getting to know my co-workers and helping guide high school students into what they plan on doing after high school, even if it does not involve college.”
Jocelyn Zaragoza
Ms. Zaragoza is a second year High School Mentor.
She is a Public Health major.
When asked what she loves most about being a High School Mentor Zaragoza states, “My favorite part about being a high school mentor is being able to guide students through the college and workforce application process. I know this help greatly impacts students and I am glad I can help them think beyond high school. High school mentors support and encourage students to apply themselves in the real world after high school and I love seeing it happen!”
