History, Objectives, & Student Member Program
The purpose of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Chapter at Texas State University is to foster a dynamic and inclusive environment for students passionate about chemistry. Our mission is to support academic and professional growth through networking opportunities, hands-on experiences, and faculty engagement. As a recognized chapter of the national ACS, we aim to cultivate leadership, promote scientific curiosity, and encourage service through community outreach and campus involvement. We strive to prepare our members for future careers in chemistry and related fields by developing the skills and connections necessary for success.
