Veterans Day is federal holiday and a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served in the military. We celebrate and honor veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

Join Veterans Alliance of Texas State (VATS)
The Veterans Alliance of Texas State (VATS) is a chartered student organization made up of US military veterans and their supporters with the mission of assisting our military members with the transition from service to student.
Stay updated on events, programs, opportunities on- and off-campus. Join the VATS mailing list and TRACS site.

Meals for Vets
Meals for Vets works to feed Texas Veterans with limited income. Meals for Vets is a Veteran-founded 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Fredericksburg, Texas, employing a dedicated staff, each personally having a Veteran family connection.
If you are a Veteran age 59 or younger living in Texas, have few or no financial resources, and wish to apply for meal assistance through Meals for Vets, a program of Honor Veterans Now.
