Prerequisite
The Prerequisite override is rarely granted, and only in cases where the student has gained the knowledge taught in the prerequisite course in some other manner – such as industry experience, having taken another, similar course that may not be fully equivalent to the prerequisite course, or perhaps that a student tested out of the prerequisite and it hasn’t yet been recorded. Other valid reasons may exist and can be discussed with the program coordinator and/or department chair.
If none of the categories above apply to you, you must complete the override form in full. Your submission must include a justification outlining the reason you believe an exception should be made to allow your enrollment in the course.
