Purpose of This Form:
This form is intended for students experiencing registration issues or requesting overrides for Chemistry and Biochemistry courses. Do not use this form to request closed class overrides.
Before Submitting a Request:
Please review the course prerequisites listed in the course description. Some sections may be reserved or restricted to specific student groups.
- Transient Students (Summer Only):
You must provide prerequisite verification by uploading an unofficial transcript. - Non-Degree Seeking Students:
You are also required to provide prerequisite verification. If the prerequisite courses were not completed at Texas State, please upload an unofficial transcript and attach the completed Non-Degree Seeking Student Form. If you do not have an official A#, you may use A99999999 when submitting the form. - For CHEM 4299:
Prior approval from a research instructor is required before enrolling in this course.
You will be notified within 24–48 hours if your override request is approved. Once approved, you must register for the course yourself through CatsWeb. Please note that the department only grants overrides and does not manage course registration.
