Karina Madera Bio

GRANT SENIOR SECRETARY

Karina graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work. Her passion lies in helping others, especially students. As a first-generation college graduate and Mexican American, Karina has fought and conquer struggles, which has strengthened her passion in helping others who experience similar obstacles. She is striving to be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to learn about others, support them, and bring awareness of mental health to her community. In her free time, Karina enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as reading, crocheting, playing video games, and taking nature walks with her dog.
