This checklist is for advising purposes for BGS students only.

Consult your undergraduate catalog or official degree audit for degree requirements.

  • Twelve advanced hours in the minor coursework are required for the BGS.
  • A 2.25 cumulative GPA must be maintained in all minor courses.
  • No grade lower than a “C” will be accepted as credit for BGS minors.
  • Course rotation indications are intended to be used for planning purposes and do not guarantee course availability. "F" indicates "fall," "S" indicates "spring," and "Su" indicates "summer" availability.

  • _____ ACC 2301 – Accounting in Organizations and Society (F, S, SU) or both:
    • _____ ACC 2361 – Introduction to Financial Accounting (F, S) (Prerequisite: MATH 1315, MATH 1319, MATH 1329, MATH 2321, MATH 2331, MATH 2417, MATH 2471, HON 3391, ACT Mathematics score of 27-99, SAT Mathematics score of 580-800, or SAT Math Section Score 600-800.)
    • _____ ACC 2362 – Introduction to Managerial Accounting (F, S) (Prerequisites: MATH 1315 or MATH 1319 or MATH 1329 or MATH 2321 or MATH 2331 or MATH 2417 or MATH 2471 or HON 3391 and ACC 2361, all with a grade of "D" or better.)
  • _____ ECO 2301 – Principles of Economics (F, S, SU) or both:

Note: BLAW 2361 is a non-advanced course that will count as a free elective for BGS.
