This form is to request dropping the lecture course but to remain in the corresponding lab. Please note that this request cannot be submitted before the semester deadlines listed below, which are typically about two weeks before the automatic “W” date for Fall and Spring semesters. If you want to drop the lecture before these deadlines, you must drop both the lecture and the lab.

You will be notified within 24–48 hours if your override request is approved. Once approved, you must drop the course yourself through Catsweb. Please note that the department only grants overrides and does not manage course registration.
