Visitation - How to Visit the Freeman Center

The Freeman Center DOES NOT conduct tours of the Forensic Anthropology Research Facility.

All Forensic Anthropology Events held at the Mulipurpose Classroom, not the Freeman Center Headquarters

Any authorized guests wishing to visit the main Center must request an appointment at least 7 business days prior to the requested date or the request will not be approved. Any changes or cancellations to the appointment need to be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Failing to do so will impact all future Freeman Center request approvals.  Contact the Freeman Center at 512-245-1516 to request an appointment. All authorized guests must check in at The Freeman Center Office (Brown building, first building on your left after the second cattle guard, open from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.) All authorized guests need be accompanied by or advised by a Center employee during their visit.

This is a closed research facility; It is not open to the public. Authorized guests include professors, visiting scholars, students with research questions, and anyone invited by the Freeman Center personnel. It is important to note that the Freeman Center is similar to other businesses with important business at hand, therefore, we must schedule appointments to allow guests. Your cooperation is important to allow us to meet safety and scheduling concerns - when we know you are coming, we can make your visit better!
