Southwestern Studies Minor
The Center for the Study of the Southwest offers an 18-hour minor in Southwestern Studies. The program engages the richness and diversity of the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico and gives focus to intercultural studies through examination of the region's diverse peoples, institutions, histories, and physical and cultural ecologies.
Various Awards and Scholarships are also available through the Center.
The 18-hour minor includes two core courses that can be taken from several disciplines:

- History 2328 | History of Mexican America from 1865

- Sociology 3322 | Sociology of Latinos and Immigration
