Self-Paced Online Clinical Dental Assistant Course

The previously offered face-to-face Dental Assistant Training Program has been discontinued. However, Texas State Continuing Education offers a self-paced, open-enrollment, online Clinical Dental Assistant course, which includes the opportunity for a face-to-face 40-hour Clinical Dental Assistant Externship with an approved dental office.

New Hybrid Dental Assistant Training Program

We are also currently developing a new hybrid Dental Assistant Training Program, which will include both face-to-face and online training. If you do not seek to immediately enroll and are interested in the new program, which will not be self-paced and which will offer the opportunity to learn as part of a cohort of students from the Central Texas area, please complete a Course Inquiry, so we may follow up with you on the new program's launch.
