Fritz N. Desir

Fritz N. Desir serves as Associate Director, Design at Boston Consulting Group and brings over 19 years of expertise as a leader in experience design and strategy. He leads the DesignOps offering and focuses on helping clients leverage design as a way to interrogate, navigate and optimize for the future — informing business, product, and ecosystem strategies to unlock growth.

Previously, Fritz served as Experience Design director and Solution Leader at McKinsey & Company leading engagements for various world-class brands in the financial services, consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, and insurance sectors.

As a design leader, Fritz has led experience design projects for a number of world-class brands with executive design roles at TribalDDB, RAPP Worldwide, Sapient Nitro, Digitas, and IBM Interactive, where he led design for Citi's first Apple Watch application in 2014.

Fritz has also served as an adjunct faculty member at NYU's School of Professional Studies founding two courses (“Examining Social Media Networks for Brand Value” and “Leveraging User Experience to Create Brand Connection”) aimed at helping senior executives gain a deeper understanding of how to leverage design and digital to create impactful outcomes.

With an intense passion to close the tech diversity, Fritz most recently also founded AWSM (“awesome”), an impact-oriented non profit organization formed to support underrepresented tech founders and teams in realizing A World Serving Many (AWSM) using a combination of design, strategy and technology.

Outside of the office you can find Fritz working on his drawing and coding skills, as well as trying to up his ultimate frisbee game (hopefully not all at the same time).
